1.1 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. 2. Order Process

2.1 Please see the Delivery Information and How to use this website section for information on how to place an order All orders that you place (via ‘Contact Us’ email) through this website will be subject to our acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions

 

2.2  We will send you an order Acknowledgement of Request email detailing the products you have ordered   Please be aware that this response is not an ‘Order Confirmation’ nor  ‘Order Acceptance’ by AfricanMovementServices.com

 

2.3 ‘Acceptance of Order’ acceptance of your order will take place only when we have advised you of the full payment required and you have made the correct and full payment into our designated Bank account and the funds have ‘cleared’

 

2.4 ‘Completion of Contract’ the contract between you and us will take place only when confirmation of successful delivery (or collection where applicable) is received by AfricanMovementServices.com

 

2.5 We do not hold details of your order for subsequently access directly through the website. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement for your own records. 3. Delivery

3.1 This website is only for delivery of products to addresses of customers supplied with the Order Request  We cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.  All goods must be signed for by an adult (aged 18 years or over) on delivery

 

3.2 Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the Delivery Information section and also when we send you Acknowledgement of Request we will advise you of delivery costs 

We make every effort to ensure delivery of goods within the estimated timescales however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors  AfricanMovementServices.com accepts no liability for any unforeseen delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

 

3.3 Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.

 

4. Payment

4.1  Without exception Payment in full must be received and cleared to our bank before any order can be actioned by AfricanMovementServices.com

4.2 The price you pay for the goods is the price displayed by your chosen retailer website at the time we receive your order   Exceptions apply:

a)  While most websites try and ensure that all prices on their websites are accurate, errors may occur. If we  

     discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you and give you the option of

     reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it  In the event that f we are unable to contact

     you we will regard the order as cancelled  If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will

     receive a full refund.

b) ‘ON SALE’ items and ‘Special Offer’ prices cannot be guaranteed to be available by the time your funds

     have cleared to our bank and the order subsequently placed by us with the retailer

 

4.3 Payment can be made by any of the  methods specified in How to use this website and no other

4.4 Title to any items you order through this website shall pass to you upon signed-for delivery of the goods/products to your supplied address

 

4.5 All prices are shown and referred to in £s sterling  but exclude shipping charges (see  Delivery Information for further details including Express     delivery charges).

 

5. Returns and Cancellations

5.1 In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods as a result of shipping, please refer to our Returns and Refunds section.

 

5.2 Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case they may offer a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price  We will notify you immediately if this occurs   If you are not happy with the details of the replacement you may choose to cancel your order and you will get a full refund (see Returns and Refunds)

 

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 You acknowledge and agree that all copyright trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorized by us or our licensors

7.4 AfricanMovementServices.com  aggregate liability whether in contract tort or otherwise for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the products in respect of one incident or series of incidents attributable to the same clause

 

7.5 We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure however we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to information provided by you

8.1 The Contract between us shall be governed by the appropriate laws of Great Britain  and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the court of said country  

English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract

8.9  No delay or failure by AfricanMovementServices.com to exercise any powers rights or remedies under these terms and conditions will operate as a waiver of them nor will any single or partial exercise of any such powers rights or remedies preclude any other or further exercise of them   Any waiver to be effective must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of AfricanMovementServices.com

AfricanMovementServices.com subscribes to the IMRG's (Interactive Media in Retail Group) Internet Shopping is Safe campaign. The campaign aims to help consumers avoid confusion by the deluge of online shopping advice by uniting merchants, facilitators, banks, and the Government behind industry approved internet shopping advice and practical help.

Internet shopping is now just as safe as shopping in a store or by phone, so there is no need for anyone to miss out on the benefits it can provide.

Some of the IMRG's official consumer Internet shopping advice:

 

1. All of your usual shopping rights apply online: of external websites. This link will open a new window.

2. Know who you're dealing with, get the seller's phone number and postal address.

3. Be aware of terms and conditions, check payment and delivery details.

4. Keep records of what you order.

5. Only give your payment card details over a secure connection and never by email. Never disclose your PIN  to anyone,

Refunds and Returns

 

Whilst we hope you'll enjoy using you ordered goods, we also know that, for one reason or another, there may be a time when you need to exchange or return something we have bought on your behalf.  Under no circumstances does AfricanMovementServices.com take or accept any liability in relation to product returns or refunds. Neither do we take or accept any form of liability for the quality or otherwise of any goods ordered by or delivered to you.

 

Your options with regards to faulty items are limited to your chosen supplier’s and manufacturer’s warranty subject to terms and conditions with regards to the purchased goods. We will be willing to provide any form of support to make this possible. In general, you are advised to send such goods to our registered UK address (at your own cost, which includes shipping costs to the manufacturers or suppliers), subject to the supplier’s or manufacturers terms and conditions and not less than a month before the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty on the item/s and we will endeavour to send this for an administrative charge that you will be advised of beforehand.

 

However, we recommend that you keep your receipt or order number, which can be found on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging, as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries with the supplier

 

If the product is faulty..

Subject to your chosen supplier’s or manufacturer’s terms and conditions, If you ship the product back to us at our registered UK address (at your own cost), not more than 30 days before the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty with your proof of purchase*, we would help ship it to the suppliers at an administrative charge plus the cost of shipping of which you will be advised beforehand.

 

* If you had your item delivered, your order number which can be found on your order acknowledgement or delivery packaging counts as your receipt/proof of purchase.

This does not apply to personalized items or those made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed; items such as earrings and cosmetics that, by reason of their nature, cannot be returned; perishable goods (e.g. food and flowers), and periodicals/magazines.

To exercise this option, you can email us or phone us (see Contact Us for details) not more than one month before the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must return unused.

To cancel an order you have already placed with AfricanMovementServices.com  you can email us or phone us (see contact us for details) within 24 hours of submission of your requests to us.  As long as we have not placed the order or we can still cancel it with the supplier, we shall return your payment to you.  However, should we incur any charges in the process such cost shall be passed onto you. We reserve the right to restrict these services at any time. However, if the cancellation is due to stock unavailability or a failure on our part, payment made for particular transactions shall be refunded in full and at no cost to you whatsoever.
