Will UK electrical goods work here in Nigeria?
Yes! We both have a 220 –240 volt domestic supply & even the fitted plugs will fit your sockets!

How long will it take for items to arrive?
Dependant on the suppliers delivery schedules. Our aim is to receive all goods within seven days of purchase date.Transit time from our shippers warehouse is 7-8 days to Lagos. For other areas please contact us directly from an immediate quote and expected transit time.

What does it cost to send goods to Nigeria?
We offer a freight service at a rate of GBP 3.50 per kg to Lagos, and GBP 4.00 for the rest of Nigeria. This rate is inclusive of all charges up to your door.

Can I specify a delivery date when ordering?
For some items you’ll be able to select a preferred delivery date when placing your order as long as the supplier isable to deliver it to our UK address at the time given and it falls within our already specified delivery schedules. (See Delivery Information) If, for any reason, we cannot meet your choice of delivery we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery date as soon as the goods are ready to be dispatched. Someone will need to be present at the time of delivery to sign for the item. See Delivery Information for more details.

How do I know if my order has been received?
Upon receipt of your order, an ‘Acknowledgement of Request’ email will be sent to you. This will inform you of the total amount payable to us prior to placing your order. Please print out this page for future reference. Once your payment has reached our Bank you will receive an ‘Acceptance of Order’ and confirming your order being placed with the relevant retailer(s) / supplier(s).

Can I add to an existing order?
You can add items to your order until you confirm by payment and therefore complete the order. Once the order is confirmed, you cannot add items to the same order. If you’d like to order additional items, then you would have to place a new order.

When will my order be delivered?
For most items the delivery dates available for your order will be 7 days from the time the order is delivered to our office address in the UK by your chosen supplier However if your chosen supplier delivers to our UK address in three days, you can expect to receive your orders within a total of 10 days inclusive. Please see Delivery Information for more details.

Do I have to be there to sign for delivery?
Yes. All deliveries require an adult (age 18 years+) to be present to accept and sign for them. This is simply to ensure the goods are delivered and received correctly. If you cannot be present to sign for delivery, ? please remember that you can specify a different delivery address while ordering and have your order delivered to your workplace, a neighbour’s, etc.?

Can I return a product, exchange it or get a refund?
We want you to be totally satisfied with every order you place through us. If for any reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase, please see UK2Nigeria Refunds and Returns policy.

Are receipts sent with deliveries?
The receipt is the address label on the parcel. You will need this in case you wish to return goods. Please see UK2Nigeria Refunds and Returns policy.

Can I order for home delivery or pick up from the courier office in Lagos?
Once you have found the products you are looking for and have added them to you request, you will be given the choice of ordering for home delivery or for our courier office pick-up. If you would like some items to be delivered and others to be picked up from the courier office, please place two different orders and select the relevant service for each.

What is the minimum or maximum order I can place per transaction?
Whilst we would love everyone to be able to visit our site, there is a restriction of £100.00 (One hundred pounds) minimum acceptable order per transaction and a maximum acceptable order per transaction of £2000.00 (Two thousand pounds) or its equivalent in Naira for individual purchasing. Any orders below the minimum transaction or above the maximum transaction amount will be subject to a special request.? UK2Nigeria fully subscribes to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission’s (EFCC) war against corruption and money laundering ( www.efccnigeria.org ). Hence transactions on this site may be subject to EFCC inspection from time to time. “The Act mandates the EFCC to combat financial and economic crimes. What is service charge and how do you calculate it?
Service charge is the amount UK2Nigeria charges you for carrying out the entire transaction (from point of order to delivery at your chosen address) on your behalf. It is calculated as a percentage of your total cost of purchase excluding shipping to your Lagos address. The service charge is currently 10%* of the total cost of your purchase excluding shipping to your Lagos address. This could be as low as 3% depending on order size/quantity and frequency of orders.
Please note that we do not charge any service charge on your shipping cost regardless of your user status.
* This is subject to change from time to time depending on economic realities and/or company policy. However you will be advised in time before any such change is affected.

Are my details secure?
Shopping through UK2Nigeria is as secure as shopping in any store. Your personal details will be kept securely. Please note that in the interest of security, UK2Nigeria will never ask for your full username or password via email, pop-ups, or for any purpose other than registering or placing an order on our website. How can I pay for my orders?
You can pay for your orders by depositing cash directly into our designated Lloyds TSB Bank. Account No : 53818993 (You may pay through any of their branches). You may also deposit a cheque in favour of UK2Nigeria Ltd. into the above Bank Account. However, we will not recognize this as payment until we have access to the cleared funds. In the future, you will be able to pay online using the Inter-Switch or other acceptable and secure payment system.

Are there goods I cannot order or transactions you can not undertake on my behalf?
Yes. As a responsible limited company, UK2Nigeria does not and will not engage in activities contrary to the laws of the African country to which delivery is to be made. Hence we are not obligated to purchase on your behalf, especially for large scale or commercial purposes any of the goods enumerated in the list of prohibited goods (see list of prohibited goods for your Country of Residence).
